How can we help?
Privacy policy
Privacy policy
KBK wants you as a user to feel confident that we safeguard your privacy and handle all personal data in accordance with the law.
Personal Data
To use the online booking service, you must provide your name, address, phone number, and email. To register an order, information about the rental time and what equipment is reserved/ordered must also be stored. The service has an age limit of 18 years, so you must also provide your birth year. When using the service, your order history is stored. This personal data is used to provide the service to you. These personal details are retained as long as you are registered as a user with us. The personal data we have registered is available and can be changed on your profile page. You can also contact us and request that we remove your personal data or deregister you from our systems. You will then no longer be able to use the service unless you register again.
Personal Data to Third Parties
KBK will not sell, exchange, or forward your personal data. The online booking is managed in a system provided by KBK.
Payment Information
When you make a reservation, your card information is stored with the payment provider DIBS to manage your order. DIBS stores the information securely and is PCI certified. This allows us to handle order changes, reservation cancellations such as deposits, crediting, additional costs incurred by the user (for late returns, damages, or similar), and reduce misuse and loss. Transaction details are stored related to your order, but not the card information. Transaction details will be stored as long as you are registered as a user of the service, according to the section on personal data.
Use of Collected Information
The personal data collected for these purposes include both the information you provide (name, email address, etc.) and information collected through the use of the service, such as what equipment you rent, and information about your location and technical details of your device and internet connection. The personal data may be supplemented with available information from third-party actors.
Cookies
When you visit our service, we use various technologies to recognize you as a user and collect data. For example, we use cookies to remember rental dates and equipment. Cookies simplify the use of the service and provide you with relevant information when you visit our website. They are also used to temporarily store data such as available rental dates, prices, and similar.
Through server logs and other tools, we can record information about the device and the connection to our service, including the operating system, browser version, IP address, cookies, and unique identification files. This information is used in anonymized and aggregated statistics but can also be linked to your user account. This information helps us, among other things, customize the display of our service to the device you use.
